Leadership
Eng. Abdallah Sallam is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Madinet Masr (MNHD), a leading urban-development company in Egypt. He is a member of one of Egypt's prominent business families and has over 20 years of entrepreneurial experience, having co-founded and managed ventures in manufacturing, retail, media, and technology before concentrating on real estate.

Sallam previously founded and served as CEO of Minka Real Estate Investment, a property-innovation company with interests in construction, consultancy, and renewable energy, which was acquired by Madinet Masr in October 2021.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The American University in Cairo and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School and Kellogg School of Management, focusing on consumer marketing, strategy, and pricing. Additionally, he is active in mentorship, serves on several boards, and was a jury member on the Egyptian edition of Shark Tank Egypt.

Madinet Masr has launched the Elm Tree Park project in Egypt, announcing total investments of approximately EGP 11 billion ($231.9 million). This project, part of the Sarai flagship development, covers 476,262 square meters and features 2,150 varied residential units, including apartments, villas, and townhouses. The company aims to contribute to Egypt's real estate sector and expand its portfolio by offering flexible payment plans that start at EGP 5,094 per month for studio apartments. CEO Abdallah Sallam emphasized the project's alignment with the company's growth strategy and its potential to stimulate demand in the real estate market.
