IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Al Ashraaf Developments to open the Holiday Inn Cairo Al Obour, a 170-key hotel in Al Obour City, Egypt. This location is notable for its accessibility to Cairo International Airport and major transportation networks, catering to both business and leisure travelers. The hotel will feature modern amenities, including the brand's Open Lobby concept, which transforms the traditional lobby into a multifunctional space for guests. IHG, which already operates eight hotels in Egypt across various brands, plans to further expand with 22 additional properties in the coming years, recognizing Egypt as a key market for growth.
